*Presentations related to symposium topics and Prosthetics-Orthotics, Biomechanics field will be accepted.

*Oral presentations will be awarded first, second and third prizes. All prizes will be presented at the closing ceremony of the symposium.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Abstracts will be accepted by e-mail.
  • Authors should indicate the presentation preference (oral, poster, full text) when submitting the paper.
  • Abstracts will be sent in Turkish and English.
  • The name, surname, institution and city of the authors should be clearly indicated.
  • Academic titles should not be used in names.
  • Only the first letter of the title should be capitalized (abbreviation in the title should not be used).
  • A maximum of 250 words should be used for the abstract.
  • Abstracts should include purpose, method, results and conclusion.
  • At the end of the abstract a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 keywords should be included.
  • A participant can submit up to two abstracts.
  • A participant can present up to two abstracts.
  • In order for the abstracts to be included in the symposium electronic book, at least one of the authors must be registered in the symposium.

Poster Preparation Rules

  • Environment-Friendly Symposium
  • Accepted posters will be presented on LED screens during the Symposium.
  • Authors should bring an electronic copy of their poster presentations with them.
  • The presenters should prepare the posters using the Symposium template. Please click to download the template for #ProstheticsOrthotics2019. 
  • The author responsible for the poster must be underlined by the name.
  • The responsible author must be registered in the congress.
  • Institutions and contact information of all authors should be included in the poster.
  • Authors must be present at the beside the posters at the time, place and day indicated for the poster discussion.

Oral Presentatıon Rules

  • Oral presentations will be held in Turkish and English.
  • The duration of the oral presentations, including the discussion, should not exceed 10 minutes.
  • Oral presentations must be checked before the presentation time.

Accepted Abstracts

  • The acceptance letters will be sent to the authors via e-mail.
  • The presenting authors are required to register for the congress in order to have the abstract evaluated.
  • Presenters who fail to attend the meeting will have their abstract removed from publication.

Full Text Writing Rules

  • A4 paper should be selected for the full text, 2.5 cm for the top and bottom margins, 3 cm on the left and 2.0 cm for the right margins.
  • The title of the study should be centered on a line 2.5 cm from the top of the page. Title should be 12-point Times New Roman and bold.
  • Times New Roman should be written in 12 pt and 1.5 line spacing. No spaces should be left between the paragraphs. Paragraphs should be justified and not indented.
  • Manuscripts should be written in Turkish or English.
  • The full text of the paper, with all its elements, should be a maximum of 4-10 pages long.
  • Tables, graphics and figures should be numbered.
  • Words of tables and figures should be 9 pt.
  • The page number should not be included.

Full Text Format should be prepared according to the following rules.

  • TURKISH TITLE
  • (English Title)

  • 1 Institution, Department, City, Country, e-mail
  • 2 Institution, Department, City, Country, e-mail

ABSTRACT

  • The summary should be no more than 250 words long, 12 pt size, Times New Roman, 1,15 spaced and italic)
  • Key words:  Its should be minimum 3 or maximum 5 words.

INTRODUCTION

Full text writing should start with the “Introduction” section and continue with subheadings. Subtitles should be italic, bold and left aligned. There should be one line space between titles and text and tables and figures.

The full text of the research papers should include the Abstract sections, followed by the sections 1.Introduction, 2.Method, 3.Results, 4.Discussion, Conclusion and 5. References. References should be numbered in the order of passage in the text.

References should be written according to Vancouver system as follows.
